Switching between scenes

New to Alice. My first post. Need suggestion

How do I remove the "ghost" while the scene is changing. If you see my movie, the second building needs to appear smoothly. It seems to paint the screen very slow. How do I make an instant appearance for the second scene

I've looked at your code. It was very impressive, although your transitions affects were set to take place over 1 second. I've done a few changes to your world and came up with two different variations. In the first one, I removed the ghost. I the second one, I also added some fading.
