Default how do i explode the crate? I'm stuck! - 10-11-2012, 07:39 PM

I need to make a video where when certain objects are clicked, they do certain things. I have them all done, however I can't figure out to make the crates explode (objects--crate). I can only figure out how to move the box entirely or move one of the 10 sides, which seem to only be small sticks of the box (not the entire side of the box). I hope this makes some sense. Any advice on how to make the crate appear to explode?

Thanks!

You can set all the sticks on one side's vehicle to another stick, then make that one stick move.

Come on, you know you want to try it.

To make a realistic explosion, a bunch of sticks is better than some flat sides.

Just make a do together method in which each stick moves away from the box, and maybe spins a little while moving, then either falls flat on the ground, or disappears.
