Alice 3.3.1.2 Crashing often

Hello all....I have several students using Alice 3.3.1.2 on Dell Optiplex 3050 PCs running Linux. For some of my users, Alice works consistently with no problems. For other users, it crashes often, so frequently that it makes it hard for them to make any progress. I've had students save super frequently, almost every time they make any change, even rotating an object. This seems to help, but I'd love to know if there are any other solutions to fix the crashing problem. Thanks!

We have experienced the same issue. I have tried to send this information to Alice.org, but the Captcha doesn't show up on my machine. We use MacOS 10.13.6 on Mac Air, 2012. The quit happens when closing the run window. It has happened repeatedly.

I would recommend, if at all possible that your students upgrade to the latest version release of Alice 3 (3.6.0.1). It is available at this link:
