Default Making your own objects in Alice - 09-18-2010, 03:24 PM

Is there a good/effective way of making your own objects within Alice? I notice you can get basic shapes so (example) I wanted to make a UFO, so I added a dome to the world. But when I wanted to reduce the hight of it (and not the width) I could only scale the entire object perportionally.

Unfortunately, Alice seems to be unable to change one dimension of an object before running the world.

The only workaround I know is to have the object resize at the very beginning at runtime, using the following method.

I have been dead for quite some time now; not much hope for resurrection.
