export to .mov file has upside down frames (linux v3.0.0.2.9)

After exporting a scene to an .mov file with the File, Export video/Upload to Youtube commands, we see upside down frames in the .mov file when played with mplayer. The majority of the frames of fine. This happens on both sid and lenny from debian using v3.0.0.2.9 Does anyone know of a fix for this?
