I had a few problems in the beginning. I read the instructions and misunderstood and selected the wrong object tree, but after my fellow classmate pointed out my error I was able to complete the assignment with ease.

I'm glad you were finally able to figure it out! There are quite a few different trees, options and lists in the interface and a solid footing will help anyone with a new program.
