How do I...make a variable use for all methods?

There is a game I'm making, its Hangman. Although my work is confidential, how exactly do I make it so that you insert the letter you pick into a variable, and it automatically is placed in all the methods. (so basically a bunch of method [all over the place] with the same letter connected to 1 variable).

You should be able to reference a global (world level) string variable from any method in the world. Click the world item, then click create variable and select the string option.
