Default knowing the size of an object? - 03-05-2011, 09:23 PM

okay, this is probably a newbie question to ask, but how can you figure out what the size of an object is on alice? i have cubes im using to make a health bar, and i cant get it to work since the size of the cubes are unknown to me, so all the increments i have the cubes move to make the healthbar work are all guess and check, is there a better way?

Well, you never really know. Because it doesnt tell you exactly. It is valued 1 in the editor and can be resized from the resize method/function. Thats about it

okay, well i have been trying to use the objects orientation to give me an approximation of the objects size, but this number seems to be slightly off at times

Until a point in life where you are super good at it and you want to move on. I have already moved on, but I still help people everyday
