Really big file

Will alice not open a file if it is too big? because i have had a bunch of trouble with alice crashing as i save my project. This iss the only idea i can come up with.

P.S. my file is aroud 80MB if that is useful.

Possibly. my worlds 73.3 mb and it still opens so i don think it wouldn't(probably just run slow like mine. But im fixing that problem

That definitely is a much larger file than the games I usually make with alice. Anyways, your computer might not have enough processing power and ram for that.

Well my computer has a 64 bit prossecer and has 4GB of ram, so I think that is fine. And also all it is is a movie so i think that is fine.

Also his might help. It is the error that pops up.

Ok never mind the forum won't let post the errror in her I have no Idea why, but exactly what happens is: As I save the world halfway through alice just closes for no reason. When I reopen alice i choose the world that I am working on and halfway thorugh loading the world alice stops and shows the message that alice won't let me post

The error message is just text, so it should let you post it.

And the way you fix it is by unzipping the .a2w file and looking for and deleting the offending object/objects and any references to them. If you do it properly, Alice should open the file, but it will be without the object you deleted.

The reason is because something you added in the file or changed. Ive had it to. Storm is 80MB and its still running.

is there a limit on how much alice will take for mb. Cuz my rpg game will prob be over 120mb.

Not really. Its depends on how powerful your computer is and whats in the game. Storm is 80 MB

Sorry that i haven't been on for a while, but i solved the problem by using an older version of the game and doing some updates from there. Just let me know if you want me to post the movie.
