Problems with VISTA

Hello, I have an issue with my schools computers. All the computers at this school run off of a main computer. All computers have Alice 2.2 on them. When I log on the computers that run XP I have no problems but when I log on to the computers that run on VISTA I get a error message that says "Unable to create the gallery viewer". Does anyone have any ideas on the subject. I have asked the teachers but they do not know either.
