Red face Get the Zombies-needs help - 03-09-2011, 04:57 PM

This is a project that a group of students has done in my class. But, they have a couple of problems. One, some of their movement controls are acting weird (moving 3 times instead of once with a button push), and they are struggling to come up with a scoring mechanism. I am allowing them to us the forum to seek help. Any ideas or insight that you can offer would be appreciated.

i downloaded it and tried to fix the controls but it got glitched
my suggestion is to start over and add the controls first

heres some tips

1. to fix the controls for aiming right click on the event and click change to
then click while the key is clicked this should make it so while you hold the key down the camera should go forward

2. make the keys control the camera not the revolver

3. for the score make 3d text and vechel it to the camera then make a number variable in the world and make it get bigger each time you defeat a monster
then make a while the world is running event that makes the 3d text set text to the score variable

4. don't make the scenery in tell after you get the controls score and shooting done
