Anyone who's addicted to the TV show, 24 should check out the Student Programs in Joel Adam's new book, Alice In Action With Java. Jack Bauer is awsome in it.

If you want to learn how to 'switch' between scenes in an Alice-world, he shows you. The HampsterHunt pretty much takes you all over New York (or City, USA)!!

If you're trying to put together a pre-CS1 course for the AP's - I highly suggest this book.

PS - I don't know the guy, but a great book for a CS1 course.

BEWARE: I have NO idea why his publisher did this but there are two books out there by Joel Adams for ALICE: (actually I do, $$$)
Alice In Action AND
Alice in Action With Java

Alice In Action With Java includes EVERYTHING in the Alice In Action book! But it has a great Interleavedl approach to teaching CS.
