I know another member has already created a flight game but i got bored and made this one. Drawing inspiration from his syringe missiles i have created a game where u can collide with everything except the water.(unless u use turbo then the computer cant check it fast enough to cause collision.) All objects can be shot with missiles and will catch fire. It has a pointer that always tells u where the carrier is. and the red targeting circle blinks when the target is in range.

Key controls are shown at the start of the game. Once u have dropped the nuke u must restart the game to reset everything.

This is the only kind of thing that would make me think of a giant crack nuke..... kinda like that Jamaican guy on all the T-Shirts who has crack. (No offense to anybody who happens to own those shirts!)

In any case, I've been watching him make this sim, and it's really good. I do have an idea, though: Why not make a sky box effect when you drop the nuke. Start out with two skies, one being a Happy Sky or something, and a 0% opacity Cloudy Sky. When the nuke drops, switch out the sky boxes using the opacity settings, and voila!

That, and try adding on an Autogun or something.... and by autogun, I mean an Auto-Targeting gun turret or a similar weapon. It'd be hard to make, but it would be so frickin' sweet.

Anyways, great job, man. It really turned out nice.

When you launch a missle in real life there is a flame coming out of the back of the missle. If you want your missles to be more life like you could try adding flames onto the back of the missles. When you shoot the opacity goes to 100% and when it comes back you could have it go back to 0%.


Just a thought but you might like it

yeah i had flames on the backs of the missiles at first but for some reason it caused lag with the collision detection. In the end it caused way to many issues to keep them. so to keep the animation clean i took them out
