Trying to shoot something

How do I make it to where my "bullet" while in the method of firing, makes it to where once an object hit, that object will disappear? thus far I have only been able to use the vehicle with the "bullet" to touch an enemy and then it will disappear, I don't have the same result while firing. Might be really rough, it is my first game, and my first programming class.

which version of Alice is this? I haven't messed around with 3 at all, but I know that in 2 it works best if, instead of saying "touches" if you say "is within 'x' meters". Saying "touches" means that it has to actually touch the origin of the object rather than the object as a whole. Hope this helps, but like I said, I haven't used alice 3.
