Default Gears Of War game - 01-11-2012, 11:01 AM

So, i plan on making a 3rd person game that is like gears of war. Problem is, i need help.
I don't know what angles are good
how to make a walking animation(Error appears every time i try)
what characters look good from behind(I would prefer some models from gears)

Any models from gears are wanted, and i would appreciate it a lot. Thanks.

Ok. Third Person is very advanced in Alice and I wouldn't recommend doing it until you know Alice very well. I tried doing an animation system for third person and you can use that as a base if you want and add on to the character, but all the scripting and functions for detecting bullet hits and the whole camera angle system is very difficult.

the problem is, that if you have the camera angled to the left, the person isn't pointing in the direction of the camera. making very hard to make a cross hair.

In Gears, there is a blind fire. Only when you zoom in theres a cross hair. And thats when the camera is going to be angled the same way as the character
