Assignment 1

The assignment was not hard since the instructions where clear and easy to follow. It provided an introduction to the Alice interface which made it possible to complete the assignment without any issues. At the same time, it made it more enjoyable to do work on the assignment by not having to spend too much time trying to figure out the IDE, which makes it frustrating for a beginner because of having to learn to use the IDE and learn how to program as well.

I enjoyed the tutorials. They are easy to follow and understand how the programming behind each animation is compiled.
I wasn't able to complete tutorial 4, as the world was completely black even though I chose the 'grass' environment. It remained black after I dragged the beach chair into the world.

Seems like a glitch with that tutorial?

Update 9/2 - I relaunched Alice and restarted tutorial 4, and this time was able to get through all of it, placing the beach chairs and moving them around. Must have been a temporary glitch when I got the black screen before.. :-)
