Help making a billboard -

On my game I would like to make a title screen. I know that to insert an image you go to make billboard. however when i insert the image that has my game title it just comes up as a black banner. help me I will give u the picture.

what is it saved as? Jpg is what I use and it works well. When in Alice just click on file and then create billboard.

If that doesn't work, you can always just make it the texture of a square

png is best to use with Alice. Alice converts all textures to png format anyway, no matter what it originally was in (that's how they are stored in the a2w files).

ohhhh. I thought you have to have the object whose texture you are copying in the world at the time.

Because this was leading nowhere, I done it myself. It shows up fine for me, if this object doesn't show up fine for you then something is wrong with your Alice.
