you cant just drag your hud to the desired spot then vehicle it to the camera so it wont move?

I think we're missing the question here King gamer

By HUD, do you mean like the one in Resident Penguin or in rich0e0rick's flight sim game?

Do you know how to use the [vehicle] function? or are you asking HOW I made the hud?

the [vehicle] function is in the objects properties, and u can click the drop down menu beside it and select an object to vehicle(glue) it too (in this case the camera)

as for the Hud, i made it in sketchup. If you want I can make you one.

Well there are some simple ways of doing it like rotating the HUD a certain degree whenever you press the side buttons, but those will never be completely accurate and will also not take into affect all of the dimensions that you can fly in. The best way to do it is to use trigonometry like I have used in my compass example. This finds the angle that you are from the ground and changes the compass needle (or HUD in your case) to turn that angle depending on your horizontal position from the ground. It is definitely possible, and if you know how I did my compass program it would be relatively easy to do.

Check out my best projects so far and please comment:
