How do I take a screen shot on Windows?

For my final project, I am required to make my own alice tutorial.
I know how to do this on a mac, but not on a Windows PC.

I'm trying to take screen shots of only specific parts of the screen such as the add objects button and the object tree.

My final is due tomorrow. Please help, thanks.
