HELP! How can i create cuadricular barriers

Im trying to make a kind of "Starfox"game where a plane moves around they city trying to pass through hoops to earn points. My problem is that once the plane goes out of the cuadricular walls, it goes into another dimension and cant come back. How do i create walls for the plane to not go out of the platform?
