Released - Unseen procedures in Alice

This is a set of unseen procedures in Alice. Events, methods and parameters never before seen except maybe in storytelling Alice or Mama.

Ive spent time going through the Alice source files, recreating the 2.2 source files with a neat program that rebuilds them. Ive found so many features that were to be, but then were scrapped, so I unlocked them and have them in my version of Alice, but obviously I cant just post all of the Alice files, so here is a view of some of the stuff that could have made Alice greater.

There is much more than this, so I might update this some time. I will post a style so you can view the tiles properly soon.

Sorry, no can do on the uploading thing. Simply because I dont want to be sued. Lets take a bit from the Alice License:

Products derived from the software may not be called "Alice", nor may "Alice" appear in their name, without prior written permission of Carnegie Mellon University.

Therefore I cant upload it without actually going through the source code and rewritting Alice to replace every instance of "Alice" with a different name. And quite frankly, I havent got a clue how to do that. I know how to create the 2.2 source code. I know how to edit it. But I do not know how to repackage it back into the format it needs to be in.

I done it with a cool program called JD-GUI. It recreates the original source code that the developers of Alice had. I know the 2.0 source is online, but not the 2.2 . I then looked at all the files throughout the source and the Alice resources and worked out how it adds certain things to it. Then I found all the features that were there, just not implemented, so I implemented them.

Where could I get JD-GUI at? Also, when I tried opening your world, it threw an error.

Also, it shouldnt have thrown an error, ive opened it on both my computer with modded Alice and a laptop with normal Alice. What does the error code say?

I know all of us are trying your patience right now Arty, but do you think you could upload the current version you have and then, when you are ready, release the final version? Again, if we are constantly bothering you, I am sorry, but we all want to get of hands on your version of Alice. If you still won't let us, then at least give us a little idea of how to do it ourselves. Thanks!

Its not that special really, just modified all of the images, the layout and added those extra options. I could upload some other files for you to use in about a week when ive simplified them (I made a jython style which wouldnt make sense to most people, so I need to make an Alice style again).

Okay. Sounds good. I mostly want to try out those extra opttions. If you REALLY need space, you can sign up for a Google Docs account at www.docs.google.com and upload it.
