walking! D:<
man the stepping by the mummy gave me such a hard time but hey i calmed down, not panic and slowly work my way into making him walk. It took me an hour but the satisfaction is completely worth it. I had such a great time XD looking forward to my next project

Mummy walk
Hello Yat Yu:
The main problem I had with project 3 was the walk as well. I did figure out that the step method (that I used for the walk), had to be called on together with a method carrying a parameter for distance. Without that, the mummy would just walk in place. I still ended up with a sort of moonwalk or treadmill effect at the end that was not intentional. As I got "pretty much" what I wanted, I went ahead and turned in the assignment as was/is. I still have issues getting the object parts to work in conjunction with one another. So - my coding - basically worked, but I felt that it was clumsy anyhow, and I probably wrote a lot more code than I actually needed to achieve the results I wanted. Walking was the most frustrating part. I am still a bit confused about using variables versus parameters. Any advice on this? Thanks. Todd |
Assignment 3
I fell the same way about to working for the Mummy. I let my self get behind and need to catchup.

May I see how you coded your mummy to walk forward? Thank you.

So you can copy it for your assignment and say you made it, I presume? |
