Editing textures
I was wondering how would I be able to edit the textures of the models that come with alice 2.2? I would like to make the texture for randomguy2 look like a zombie. Please help...
Save the object as a class, then use 7-zip to extract the files from the .a2c file, look for the texture file, edit it, then import it into Alice and apply it to the model.
What X said is right, but what's wrong with the built in zombie?
I want the randomguy2 to turn into a zombie but the texture doesn't fit.
Are you talking about the zombie texture? You want it to change to a Zombie?
Another possibility:
1. Right click on the guy and choose 'save object' 2. Save it to the desktop, and in the 'files of type' window, select 'all files'. This will save the object files individually in a folder on the desktop. 3. Open that folder, find the file labelled 'image' and change it however you like. 4. When you're done and have saved it, go to the object in the object list on the left. Click on it, then click the 'properties' tab in the window below it. Open 'texture maps' and select 'import texture map'. Choose your new texture, then drag the icon for that texture to 'skin texture' in that same window. It sounds complicated, but after you've done it it becomes very easy. Hope it helps. |

A simple way to do it would be to have an invisible zombie on top of him and slowly turn the zombie opaque as the random guy goes transparent. |
The zombie and randomguy2's bodys are different.
