Misplaced "Say" and "Think" bubbles

Lately all "Say" and "Think" bubbles in Alice 2.2 (and 2.4), but not in Alice 3 are misplaced. They seem to have a constant offset to the left and up of the character (perhaps a couple of meters). I'm not sure what causes his - any ideas are welcome.

Details

Unfortunately I didn't notice what changed lately in my system - several things got installed:

- Python (3.3)
- Google Chrome
- Java Development Kit

I uninstalled all three but the problem remained. Maybe the bad libraries stayed behind.
