Nothing is virus-proof. In fact, since Linux is open-source, anyone with the desire could attempt to engineer malicious code targeted at it.
Also, the comprehensive and freely available anti-virus and malware tools for Windows make up for the increased security risk. I ran into a similar virus on my personal laptop, and all it took was one run of Spybot to detect and neutralize it. I appreciate Linux because I use and enjoy Android (which is based on Linux and is also not virus-proof), but I was thoroughly unhappy the entire time I was forced to use anything other than Windows in school. |

Popel rather use the Linux from it's company. |
34 is a laughably small number when you're talking about network security.
That's like saying you went outside to get the mail and weren't struck by lightning, therefore you're lightning-proof. |

Even if you downloaded ten million files, it wouldn't prove anything. A single user isn't enough of a sample to make a valid cross-section.

I use anti virus software its very reliable and stops all my virus's before they even effect me.

Moving on, I love Linux over Windows. At least I'm not getting hardware or software errors every time.
And at least I'm not getting a BSOD every time as well. |
Further more, I woke up at AM, and got out of bed at 1:25 PM.
|
I'm going to be taking a break from doing these virtual machine things.
