Alice on LinkedIn
Posted at request of Els:
Dear All, I recently opened a discussion group on linkedIn http://www.linkedin.com/e/gis/1092517 The goal of this discussion group is building up a network of people interested in alice programming. We would like to share ideas about how to teach computer programming in Alice specially on dutch and belgian schools. Although the focus is on Dutch teaching materials, part of the discussion can be general. Regards, Els |

Good initiative, consider me joined in. You might want to consider closing down the discussions board though. Seeing as you have this great forum here already you'd best try maintaining one central location for all discussions concerning Alice. By itself the group is a good way to connect with other Alice users.

One thing that a lot of new members don't notice, is that this was posted a long time ago. I'm not sure if this is still running on LinkedIn, but just a tip for the future, check the date of when the thread was posted.;)

It's still running, and the admins still visit, so this thread is still valid.
I would agree, though, that a PM might be a better method of getting a message to the higher ups. |
Ok, but I was just bringing up to check to dates of when Threads were posted for future.
