About time he got caught. It's still not the end though when it comes to terroristic attacks, but at least we'll have less to worry about now. Do you guys think that Al-Qaeda will be able to function without Osama or do you think the whole organization has pretty much fallen apart due to Osama's death?

According to Yahoo News, less than 100 people are existing members of al-Qaeda in Afghanistan. However, his death may cause more supporters to rally behind him (or the contrary, now that he's dead =P).
Some people say that al-Qaeda will just choose someone else to rally behind, like No. 2 Ayman al-Zawahri.

You're right in that terrorism won't end immediately; bin Laden's death will probably just incite them.

I think Bin Laden was becoming marginalized due to the larger events happening in the Arab world that were beyond his control. With upheavals in Egypt, Tunisia, Libya, etc Al-Quida needs to reassert itself into the Arab world or begin to decline. With Bin Laden's sources of money and political protection, maybe it will be harder for them to become a force in the new Arab world and force them to become a smaller, less influential group. That doesn't mean they won't still attract crazies and jihadists, but maybe they will be viewed more and more as a fringe group.
