High poly models aren't always a good thing in Alice, they increase the file size and can cause lag. A good model is well textured, a good texture is much more important than a lot of faces - it can make so much difference, and has a medium poly count. Also when converting a model to work with the stupid format Alice uses there will surely be a drop in quality.

hello, i had a small request, well it may be small i don't know...
in fact i don't even know if your still doing request. first of all let me say, i admire all the work you've posted so far. You have done something i have dreamed about since i started working with Alice, and that's getting super awesome models that work and look nice. my request is a dirt bike... similar as shown here.
http://sketchup.google.com/3dwarehou...e0&prevstart=0
i don't know how feasible this is, but i would be eternally grateful if it could be done. but it doesn't have to be that one, but some specifications that i don't know how doable these things are would be to have the axis center at the bottom of the model, and have the wheels be sub-object things... whatever they are called... just so they can turn
thank you for your time, i hope you don't stop posting models x2495iiii, most of us are very grateful to all your hard work ^_^

Meh. Converting is boring. That's part of why I stopped. It's also hard to find free models that were done properly and aren't copyrighted. You wouldn't believe how many hours of my time have been wasted converting models that look good in non-crappy renderers and look horrible in Alice.
