Default Need some help! - 06-19-2010, 08:57 PM

I have an assignment due for school. I have completed most of the steps. I am trying to make the ball go over the head of the character. I tried the point at and move toward method, but I can't get it to be on top of the other character's head. Any help would be appreciated.

Try having the ball point at the character, but then turn backwards a bit, like 15 degrees, and then have it move forward. If you really wanted an effect, have the ball slowly curve forward as it flies over the person's head.

Hey,

Tried to do as you recommended, but it didn't do what I wanted it to do. I inserted the "ball point at character method" then the "ball move xxx meters toward target's head". The ball goes to the target head, but I want it to go over his head. Would I have to use the proxmity function of the target or ball? Or do I have to do something else?

Perhaps tell it to move x meters towards the head and move up (as seen by camera) about 1/2 meter in a do together?
