Default Fun Ball Game- Not Done - 10-03-2009, 10:38 PM

This is a adventure ball game that I am working on. For some reason, sometimes after doing certain actions (like entering the house) the ball moves by itself Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. BTW the carosol, crate, person, or lever does not do anything at the moment.

A good, simple game. There's a glitch where if you say you want to go in the house, it warps you far away from the house. Also, if you jump off the raised white platform, you fall and sink into the ground. Otherwise, pretty nice.

Actually the "outside" of the house and the "inside" of the house are in two different locations so I was trying to make the ball warp to the "inside" of the house.

Oh, well that's good, but the place the ball warps to is a clearing, not a room.

Is the inside of the house's "isShowing" property set to false?

I just posted the lastest version in the original post. The room and the house are two separate objects. Both of their isShowing properties is set to true. The room is somewhere far away from everything else so the user can't see it when he's "outside the house." Would it better to put the room closer to everything and set the room and everything in it false for isShowing and then set it to true when your inside?

Also, why is it that sometimes when I enter and exit the house, the ball moves by itself?

BTW Also, I'm wondering where can I go to learn more about the seldom used properties in Alice?

In this order:

Yes it would be better if you did that

It's because the prompt interrupts the ending of the move method. You can fix it by putting in an automatic end just before the prompt.

I actually posted asking about them awhile ago. I know what most of them do, but some you just need to experiment with/do without, as not many people know. If you want, I can tell you what I know about them.
