Default Changing a text-string from Alice into a text file - 06-20-2012, 10:25 PM

I would like to know if there was a way to convert a text string into some sort of text program so it would be readable as a file. If there is a way, could you send/make a video or describe how to me? (For a video, just reply to this with a link, or PM me.)
Thanks!

I have created an object for this - the File I/O Tool.
The thread in the link should explain it all, but if you have any queries then don't hesitate to ask me, I will be happy to help.

If alternatively, the reason you wish to produce this text file is to save the game (specifically save/load variables), then you can use my Save Tool, which is more up to date than the File I/O Tool.

Thank you VERY much, but I found out how to do it. I will check out your tools for future uses maybe.
Thanks!

If you managed to do it yourself then congratulations, that is beyond what most people can do.
The tools are there if you need them.

Just had to enable scripting, not that big of a deal. Many monkeys randomly typing in a text editor could eventually do it.
"Many monkeys randomly using a typewriter can eventually type Romeo and Juliet." ~ I don't remember :P
