Importing Objects

I have imported objects into alice as i have seen on past forums but i dont get colour can anyone help

Does the object you're importing have a texture? It may, just go to the object's properties and select the correct texture.

Otherwise, the object's creator may not have made a texture for the object.

i checked but there is no texture that is associated to that object i can only select other object textures.
