It seems a bit thin to me. Just sayin'. A few hours ago I was also searching for the Gravity Hammer, found two nice-ish ones. One required me $10 to pay for Garry's Mod for Half Life, which I did not intend on doing. It looked nicer. Another was some ~2400 poly incarnation for WoW that I don't want to figure out how to port into Max. The first one I found however, was some exceedingly fancy thing on youtube that is not available anywhere. How unfortunate. IMO that one was probably the best available.
Edit: Here's the 1600 poly incarnation for WoW. It's in .obj form so it can be imported by most model editors available. I would be surprised if there was one that couldn't, actually.
Reason I did not finish the job: Like hell I'm doing the UV maps for this thing.
Key: UV Maps... Are not hard to do. They are complicated and time consuming. Despite the complication, they are not hard, but more often than not, it is the most difficult thing for a 3d artist to do because of how annoying it is. -Pretty much all you're doing is moving polygons across a 2d plane—It's like you're making the design for a very complicated papercraft. The fact that it's as if you're doing the UV Map for someone else's work is all the worse.
-If you want me to do the smoothing for you once the UV's are done, I can do that.

Hum. So doing UVs would be a little more complicated even if someone wanted to. Seems when I export to .obj all of the polys are flipped so it comes out wrong. Whatever~. At any rate, here it is in .a2c. I don't intend on smoothing it until it's done because of that flipping error. When exporting to .obj, smoothing is lost—or at least some of it is.
Edit: It seems the model tends to implode in alice—Not alice's fault as far as I can tell. To fix this, set the size of the hammer to -1 and rotate it half of a revolution until it is "right side up"

Model Review...

Feedback...

Gravity Hammer

Pros:

Perfect Axis
Good Polycount model

Cons:

No Color
Very big

Overall

98/100 by Chrome Games

This model is suepr good, but is very big and no color/textures. The polygon count is good and works perfectly in any game. I am impressed with the location of the axis because it makes it perfectly easy to use. It gets a 98 due to the small amount of issues stated above.

well I found a model on 3d warehouse which im sure you would probably have prefered, I fixed the axis of it, and tried labeling it's subparts, it's somewhat of a high count model though, and I have no idea how to texture objects, so it's kind of plain... I added something to it you might like, check out the lower handle.
Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't see it. Yours is actually very very good. I can't believe I missed it. I will use it as well as the other.

I only spent 15 seconds looking at it. I flipped it quickly around and looked at it and compared it to the real model and saw it pretty accurate.
