How do I make a basketball move according to your arrowkeys?

Default How do I make a basketball move according to your arrowkeys? - 05-07-2011, 07:22 PM

I want to make a game where you control the basketball, but I don't know how! I use Storytelling Alice, and one of the examples showed the camera controlled by arrowkeys, on Storytelling Alice can I control objects with arrowkeys?

I don't have Storytelling Alice, but in Alice 2 you basically have two options:
1. Use the built-in mouse control system.
2. Assign each key press event for movement.

Just look at the pictures below.

And you don't have to use move at speed, you can also just use the normal move and turn commands. Basically the let arrow keys move object, or fir more finite control of the objects you want to use the while a key is pressed
