How does one set different camera angles that can be referred back to in the animation?

Use dummy objects. Click the add objects square, click the more options button on the right side of the screen, then click "Drop dummy at camera."

I know I've posted this somewhere before, but here you go.

Click on the buttons that are circled in red.

Added onto bunny's post, then if you want to add it into an animation, like making a movie. I suggest you name the dummy's then when you want the camera to change position, make it "camera move to (whichever dummy)" and "camera orient to (whichever dummy)" if its at a different orientation.

Or, instead of "move to" and "orient to," you could just use the single method "set point of view to" which has the same effect as combining those two.

How about having the camera just jump to the angle you want..not glide.

You can do this by setting the duration of the movement to 0 seconds. This makes it jump to the position
