Keeping scores & variables in Alice 3.1

I was able to create a variable to keep score and use a 3D text to display the score in version 2.2 but w/ version 3.1 doesnt look the same.

trying to create a game when another object collides w/ another object, increment variable (score) by one and display the score on the screen.

anyone help? thx.
