Default A puzzler - 11-25-2007, 11:18 AM

Run this video and see if you can figure out how it was created before you examine the code.

If you can't figure it out, examine the code in the main method without examining the code in the method named setTheStage and try to figure out what is going on in the method named setTheStage.

If you give up at that point, examine the code in the method named setTheStage.

Experiment with the lighting in the first three statements of that method to see the effects of lighting in this strange case. Restore the ambient light and the main directional light to their default values and see if you can explain why the two ice skater objects appear to be illuminated differently. Move the main directional light around and see if you can explain the effect of the light on both objects.

Hint: The IceSkater object on the left is a mirror image (sort of) of the one on the right.
