I'll do the .303 until further notice. I am having an unbelievably hard time finding the bottom side of a bullet.. Everyone seems to take pictures from the side for some reason.
Isn't 7.62 made purely for rifles anyway?

Yup, I would use it for my project, there'll be a sniper with an AWM

I modeled it exactly to the diagram but I can't texture lol. It also doesn't seem to come up right in Alice as just a model.
Edit: Comes out correctly in Alice now. Now to do UV Mapping..

I could not activate that nice reflective effect.. Alice probably just doesn't support it, and I could not fix these tiny errors with texture baking. So I got tired and changed the colors of the objects in Alice. The round has been resized to fit the AWP from the CS 1.6 High-Quality models in the Share Objects subforum.
It's accurate to the diagram in Wikipedia. If you're going to use it, I request that instead of making the whole round fly, you set the round inside the chamber and have the casing fly outwards as the bullet goes out the chamber. Just for accuracy.
I was going to give an example, but the AWP model is just bad... There's no subobject hierarchy and it's going to be impossible for me to accurately display the bolt mechanism.

.. If you mean my bullet, upload this updated one. The pivot points were fixed and the baked textures were added. Still no reflection.
