Default horses go backwards - 02-24-2010, 06:45 PM

I am new. Why, when I use the race horse game from the "Amusement Park" do the horses go backwards when I tell them forward?

Move Horse1 Forward .1 Meter

Tell me exactly what the horse movement command says, down to the last detail, please.

Is it forward to you're view or the horses? Because the items move to thier point of view, not the position of the cameras.

MOVE horse1 FORWARD .1 Meter
It may have something to do with as seen by but no luck. If I say "BACKWARDS" it goes forward. It is probably something very simple... I am new.

All it is the way the horse is made. Just reverse and do it that way and you'll be fine or use a different horse

Ah. You must be using the racehorse game object. Yeah, the horses' orientations are backwards, it's not a glitch or a problem with your world, just the way the object is made. Use backwards instead of forwards and you'll be fine.

If you ABSOLUTELY can't stand the mix up, drop a dummy object at the horse, have it turn around, and set the horse's vehicle to it. Now, move the dummy instead! Probably pretty worthless, but it'll let you use the "Let arrow keys move object" method.
