Exclamation Animation - need ideas - 10-04-2008, 01:27 PM

I need ideas for my extra credit assignment. I am terrible at making up storyboards. Anything will work for me so please help! :] I really need the extra credit! Also, I don't understand how to make if/else statements so I will need help making one of those for the animation I make.

Write an animation or interactive environment/game using at least the following components: 2 objects, 2 methods that you created with at least 3 actions in each method, one If/Else statement, a loop, and a function. This animation or game should make sense.

Search the Alice site for: Ideas for Alice programs.

Dick Baldwin provided 9 great ideas for Alice programs for those indiviuals like me whom have no creative thoughts.

As for help with the decision control structure, If/Else, I suggest you speak with your Instructor - I would not want to guide you in a direction that might be different from how (s)he is trying to teach programming.

Good luck with your extra credit project!

You will find thousands of ideas for simple games at http://scratch.mit.edu/ Some are pretty good and some are not so good.
