Need help with game project!

I'm at work or else I'd attach what I have so far. But I'm making a simple field goal game for a project. I've got it everything set up except I can't get it to register when the ball has actually gone through the field goal posts. I've tried using both the "when ball is within range of" as well as "when ball is above". Any suggestions?

First click on the goal post, and notice that the origin is a single point at the base. You need to trick Alice into looking for TWO points.
Drag a sphere into the World and orient it to the goal post (that should move it to the base).
Move it to one of the upright corners and shrink it to fit.
Copy it and move the copy to the other upright corner.
Make the goal post their vehicle, and make 'em invisible.

Now you can make it work using the spheres. Think about it
