you should be able to get the full program off Blender's website

EDIT: including an import/export already integrated into the program

I have the latest version of Blender and I can't find where to put the ASE converter file in Windows 7. I get A folder named Blender Foundation in 2 places, and in one, it has Blender Foundation > Blender > 2.58, then 2 folders named python and scripts, and the other location has Blender Foundation > Blender > 2.58 > config > and then 2 text files names bookmarks and recent files. Does it go in the first one I listed?

The first scripts folder has 5 folders within it, named addons, modules, presets, startup, and templates.

Window 7 is what I have, and I had no problems finding the proper folder. I just did a file search for blender, then I looked around for a folder that had a bunch of python scripts in it (.py file extensions) and dropped the file there.

Hey. Instead of having to go to all these steps to make a simple object to work with alice why can't someone make a python script that allows alice to read sketchup files?

Because that would be even harder.
