Okay! I rewrote the entire system of AliceChat from scratch, and I must say I'm very proud of it. There is no longer any ftp connection - Everything is done in an SQL database. Also, you need to make an account. This version works MUCH faster than the old version, and it doesn't skip messages any more! Also, the window doesn't freeze anymore, and it keeps track of which users are logged on. A display for this will be implemented in the next version. Enjoy!
Create Account Note: It's written almost entirely in Jython, so there isn't much to look at unless you enable scripting. Note2: Using the urllib module requires disabling the future check on the os module. AliceChat2 does this automatically. This does not remove any features from Alice - many Jython modules can't run without this change. EDIT: I have to fix a few things, so it's down for now. I made 2 accounts just in case I made the password wrong on the first, but its not working with either account. Quote:
