That was the first techique I tried using when you showed me your 'integer only' fix earlier. I tried setting a global to the rounded number and then using it as min and max in the random function. Did not work for me, but I am using Alice 2.2.

Actually, thanks it did end up working. Not sure why it did not work when I tried earlier, but if you randomize the global with a min and max set to the globals current value it does work.
Thanks again. By the way is there any way to add functionality to the Alice engine by writing Python scripts? I would imagine you would need the source code for the Alice IDE to do so. I'll have to download the source and look at it one day when I have time. |
