what's the difference between "point at" and "turn to"

Default what's the difference between "point at" and "turn to" - 09-15-2012, 05:46 PM

I tried both of them and they seem to do the same.

Turn to face involves rotating so that the object's center point is pointed at the target.

Point at involves both rotating and turning forward/backward so that the object's center axis forms a straight line to the target.

The difference becomes more clear if you try pointing at/turning to face targets higher or lower than the object.

point at means that the cam will turn and face the object on a horizontal and vertical grid. Turn to tou turn to face in the direction of the object but it still could be a above the cam
