Exclamation Resorting to software rendering? - 06-11-2017, 05:43 AM

I was working on my alice world, for my final in one of my classes then after saving the world i went in to add objects but i got an error saying "resorting to software rendering. This blurred all of the imported textures just in the Add objects section. I went to play it and when I did, the frame rate had dropped down to about 5 frames per second, and all the textures were pixelated. This makes it extremely hard to determine if anything new I have put in works well.
Any words of advice would be helpful. Thank you.

Something as simple as saving your project, quitting and restarting Alice may resolve the issue.

hardware acceleration may need to be turned on for your machine.

Possibly update the drivers of your video cards. See this link: http://alice3.pbworks.com/w/page/549...ideo%20Drivers
