Can't Get my Frogger game to Work!!!

I spent a long time on this . I set up a frogger game where a chicken is trying to reach the gumdrops on the other side of the road. Everything goes well but when the chicken gets hit by a car it doesn't launch my "splat" method. See attachment.

Ok, what I did is I separated the if/else statements concerning the chickens distance to the cars and the cars movement and I put each if the if sections in their own infinite loop. The problem before was that your game was only checking for a collision at the beginning of the game, but not throughout. Nice start though!

Also, I moved up the roads so they are not partially embedded in the ground anymore.

How could I miss that :P
