If you use 3ds Max, you export them directly to the .ASE format. When the export options dialog box pops up, you're going to want to check Mesh Normals, Mapping Coordinates, and probably Vertex Colors. If you've added dummy objects, then you also want to check Helpers.

Debussy stopped giving me models until he was forced to and asked 100 times. I don't remember him ever posting this Master Chief, but there is a chance he posts stuff now. He never finished his halo game......sad....
