With textures, it is based off of mapping. So inside whatever 3D modeling program you are using, you have to map out the texture to the object so when you import the object into Alice, and apply the image ("Texture") it will know the correct coordinates to place the texture on the object.

So in simple terms: Only a texture that is applied to the object when being made will work (or a texture that is positioned the exact same as the original)
