Today, it was our school's Halloween dress-up day, where you could wear your Halloween costume as long as you didn't have a mask on.

One teacher dressed up as a Roman legionary, with authentic armor. From my VERY close vantage point, I believe it was actual metal.

However, I have two qualms about it:
1. He was wearing boots. Legionaries wore sandals.
2. Gladius should be worn on the right side, I believe. Since it was short enough, unlike a longsword, to not have to draw it across your body, the Romans preferred it that way.

Either way, the costume was INSANE!
